Aqua Shine is a locally owned mobile detailing and power washing company serving Northwest Arkansas and Beaver Lake. Founded with a focus on convenience, quality, and reliability, Aqua Shine was built to help boat owners and homeowners protect their investments without the stress of maintenance.

We specialize in mobile boat detailing during the peak lake season, along with dock, structure, and surface power washing services year-round. Every job is approached with attention to detail, the right equipment for the surface, and a commitment to delivering consistent results.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Hey everyone—my name is Matthew Lester, and I was born and raised in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. I’m the founder of AquaShine NWA, and I’ve spent most of my life on Beaver Lake—so much so that I decided to turn it into my office.

I graduated from Eureka Springs High School in 2022 and went on to further my education at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. In Spring 2026, I will earn my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance, with concentrations in Management and Investments and a minor in Economics. I chose this path to build a strong foundation in how to operate and grow a business successfully.

Over the past seven years, I worked at Starkey Marina under the management of the Womack and Zachary families. During that time, I spent several years as a dockhand and later served two years as an assistant manager. Some of my best memories come from working alongside Steve and the Zacharys. I also assisted in the construction of multiple docks—including the well-known Corona Dock and Ultra Dock.

And yes—if you’ve enjoyed pizza at the marina over the past seven years, there’s a good chance I made it. I probably turned out well over 10,000 pizzas, and if you remember that pizza from one summer that was especially good, I was likely behind the wheel. I took pride in the pizza kitchen the same way I take pride in everything I do.

During my time at the marina, I gained hands-on experience detailing rental boats, which eventually turned into a small side hustle caring for friends’ boats during my time off. That experience is what ultimately led to the creation of AquaShine NWA.

Now, here we are. My goal is simple: to help you enjoy a stress-free, lake-filled summer while knowing your boat, dock, or property is taken care of. I’m incredibly excited to serve this community and grateful for the support.
